Louisville Julep

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Sheffield Tawny Port

  • 1 oz. Larressingle VSOP Armagnac

  • 1 oz. Appleton Estate Reserve Rum

  • 1/2 oz. mineral water

  • 1 1/2 tsp. superfine sugar

  • 5 fresh mint leaves, plus a sprig for garnish

 
 

Directions

  1. In a highball glass or julep mug, gently muddle the mint, sugar, and water.

  2. Fill the same glass with crushed ice and add the Port, Armagnac, and Rum. Stir until the outside of the glass is frosty.

  3. Top with more crushed ice and garnish with a fresh mint sprig. Enjoy!
